Giving Back

Today, Mike is President of GPPA, Inc., the Global Pool Players Association, a new 8-Ball handicap league which puts all players on an even playing field. “I want to give back to the players, those who deserve to make real money for play using a handicap system that is fair for all players,” he said recently in a news conference announcing the creation of the league.

When speaking about the final playoffs, Mike was thrilled to announce the $250,000 top prize, with more than a $1,000,000 in prize money to be awarded in the finals. Mike is currently touring the country in an exhibition tour promoting the league. League play is scheduled to begin May 15, 2014.
